Mark the beginning of Lent:

Shrove Tuesday, February 25th 4pm - 6pm: Pastor's Pancakes

Be still and know…. Quiet Day - February 29th

Deepening our Prayer.

Here’s an opportunity to begin Lent, and use our ‘extra day' this year - February 29th - as a chance to be still and listen to God. We will be holding a Quiet Day - 10am - 4pm, which will include some simple worship, some pointers to help us as we grow as people of prayer, and the opportunity for some private time, to pray, think and reflect. Come and share in this day.

We will meet at St Peter’s Church, Kinver at 10am – a beautiful setting, up on the hill overlooking the village. Coffee and tea provided, bring a packed lunch. A small donation – just to cover the costs of heating and coffee etc.

Ash Wednesday: February 26th, 7.30pm:

A Service of Communion to begin Lent will be held at St Joseph’s, with ‘ashing’ for those who wish.

Lent Course: Wednesdays evenings at 7.30pm, March 4th – April 1st at St Joseph’s - The Old Testament: The Big Picture. Why do we read the Old Testament? What is it all about? Come and experience the big picture, as we look at Law, History, Wisdom, Prophecy, and how the New Testament uses the Old Testament.

Passover Meal: Monday 6th April 7.00pm. Come and experience a full Passover Meal; learn about its origins, its significance for Jesus, and how we. as Christians can learn about our faith through it. Full, 3-course meal. Tickets £5 per person, available now from St Joseph's Church.
